Innovation in all sectors of society is essential for positive social change and inclusive prosperity. But for innovation to be effective and broadly beneficial, Canada’s “innovation ecosystem” needs effective governance, collaboration across disciplines and sectors as well as conceptual tools powerful enough to deal with problems that are complex, emergent and uncertain.
CCSIP leverages networks to equip policy and decision-makers in all levels of government and the social sector with research to help build robust and democratic innovation ecosystems that can meet the challenges of the 21st century.
