Companion to the Manuale

The Manual contains a variety of offices.  Some of its contents are duplicated in the Breviary, some in the Processional, and some in the Missal; and some content is proper to the Manual, such as the rites of baptism, marriage and burial.

The Liber pontificalis attributed to Pope Zozimus (d. 418) the introduction of the Exultet in the local church of Rome.

This Prayer is also found in the Capitular Office of the Breviary.
This Prayer also appears in the ‘Itinerary’ of the Roman Breviary.
